Elements of technical-logistical support
The technical-logistical support of our products should ensure that they meet the required state of the art and can be used safely and reliably. In order to be able to guarantee these standards, further work is carried out in addition to the initial briefing as part of the handover, such as the preparation of technical instructions (TA) or a risk assessment (GBU) for the greatest possible safety when handling vehicles or other Norrenbrock Technik products. For the most successful use, maintenance or repair possible, detailed external technical documentation is also prepared in addition to the technical documentation already prepared internally.
Obsolescence management
Obsolescence management is also part of technical-logistical support. The aim of obsolescence management is to delay or prevent the obsolescence of a product or to mitigate its consequences. It is therefore particularly important to plan ahead and develop strategies to counteract obsolescence in the medium to long term. This applies in particular to the obsolescence of non-electronic parts, such as the bodywork. Reverse engineering can therefore play an important role here, with the help of which original parts can be scanned and reproduced. This is usually achieved with the help of precise CAD scans, on the basis of which identical parts are produced. This is an important factor for the continued use of older models in technically demanding environments.
Technical-logistical support: keeping pace with progress
Another important aspect of technical logistics support is the development and implementation of retrofitting and conversion measures, i.e. the addition or replacement of vehicle components. This may involve, for example, technical broadcastingor guidance systems that replace older equipment or add new functionalities. In this way, vehicles and container solutions remain at an acceptable level of technology - nevertheless, this type of adaptation naturally poses a particular challenge in the field of system integration, for example to vehicle technology in special vehicle construction.
