The special signalling system is an elementary part of the equipment for numerous special vehicles of the police, fire department and other BOS (authorities and organizations with security tasks). It is equipped differently depending on the type and purpose of the special vehicle, such as a fire engine, command vehicle or command vehicle, and can fulfill various functions. Part of the equipment of a special signaling system is, of course, the characteristic blue flashing light (blue light) in single or multiple versions. In addition, there are loudspeakers or siren, front flasher and, if necessary, a corresponding control unit for the interior. To ensure that the special signaling system functions perfectly, it must be installed thoroughly as part of the system integration in special vehicle construction.
Special signaling system in use
The special signaling system creates a high visual and, if necessary, acoustic warning effect for other road users. It warns of operations as well as accident and danger zones. Emergency vehicles with an active special signaling system are therefore much easier to recognize in all situations, which can make deployment easier in an emergency. In contrast to many other colors in road traffic, the blue flashing light of the special signaling system is unique and cannot be mistaken for anything else.
