Special vehicles always have to meet very special - sometimes very specific, sometimes very universal - requirements. Our customers come from both industry and the private sector. Authorities such as the police and the German armed forces are among our most important customers. The fire department, for example, also requires special vehicles for a wide variety of operational conditions. These special vehicles often have to have very individual technical equipment and highly specialized features. Meeting all requirements and at the same time guaranteeing full functionality in special vehicle construction is often the major challenge.
Functionality in special vehicle construction is both the problem and the solution. Our engineers and technicians not only have to have the latest specialist knowledge (which requires constant further training), but also be highly innovative and creative in order to technically realize the most complex and unusual customer requirements. In a vehicle, for example, space is limited, which restricts the possibilities. Attention must be paid to weight, roadworthiness and safety in order to achieve functionality in special vehicle construction.
After a comprehensive requirements analysis for new special vehicles to be designed, the engineers develop a concept for the realization and plan the functionality. Special vehicle construction can only be successful in this way.
