Power generators have become an indispensable source of energy, and not just for motorhomes and allotment parties. However, what is more for comfort and entertainment here is indispensable and life-saving elsewhere.
For example, power generators are indispensable in special vehicles used for firefighting, disaster control and emergency medical care. Fire departments, the German Armed Forces, THW and rescue services need power generators in their vehicles in order to be prepared in the event of a local or regional power failure, if the deployment site is far away from any infrastructure, or in the event of a general blackout, i.e. if a disaster or an act of war or terrorism paralyzes the power grid.
Electricity generators produce electricity from mechanical movement, similar to a bicycle dynamo. However, they are not powered by pedaling, but by an internal combustion engine. They are used for mobile power supply and must be available and ready for use in special protection vehicles. The power generators of the fire department or the THW, for example, drive water pumps during floods, power floodlights during night operations or supply measuring devices with the necessary energy, to name just a few examples.
In such special protection vehicles, the power generators can be permanently installed, as is usually the case with fire department power generators, or they can be carried along as mobile units so that they can be used further away from the special protection vehicle, depending on the operation. Norrenbrock-Technik carries out the installation of power generators with competence and experience in this field from the initial planning to the implementation.
