ISO 9001

ISO 9001 is a cross-industry, internationally developed standard that defines the requirements for a company's quality management system. Only organizations that demonstrably meet these standards and requirements are allowed to use the corresponding certificate, which is recognized worldwide.

The aim of ISO 9001 certification is to increase the efficiency of processes and thus profitability and customer satisfaction. Companies with ISO 9001 certification enjoy an advantage of trust in the international business world because they have transparent business processes and because continuous improvement of competitiveness is part of their corporate philosophy.

The ISO 9001 standard, which is also often referred to as ISO 9001:2015 because it was last updated in 2015, evaluates all processes and their interactions within a company as well as its products and services. The competence of employees at all levels is also assessed.

Obtaining ISO 9001 certification is a huge effort for any company, because every little process, every routine, every spatial situation and so on is examined, analyzed and, if necessary, improved. The will and willingness for continuous improvement is a basic requirement for ISO 9001 certification and all employees, regardless of their position in the hierarchy, must work towards this.

But the effort is worth it. Continuous improvement brings competitive advantages through increased efficiency and greater customer satisfaction. An ISO 9001:2015 seal is a clear signal of confidence in the market. A company can achieve ISO 9001 certification through several audits carried out by a qualified person or organization. The company should expect the audit to take around three to six months. Recertification every three years is usually quicker.

We at Norrenbrock Technik have also held the ISO 9001:2015 quality certificate for years and guarantee compliance with the currently applicable quality standards and a consistently high level in the implementation of our projects.
