Special vehicles for off-road use in particular need to remain mobile for as long and as effectively as possible: Additional tanks extend the range, a particularly large jack provides greater leeway when changing tires or recovering off-road and a sand ladder helps to free stuck vehicles from sand or other soft surfaces. A pulley block or recovery strap may also be on board for pulling. The technology of the emergency vehicle can also be optimized, for example by fitting a snorkel to improve the air supply to the engine. These and other components supplement the functionality of emergency vehicles for military use and other off-road special vehicles.
