Broadcasting refers to the transmission and reception of data via electromagnetic waves and is a central aspect of work in special vehicle construction for the military, police and many other authorities and organizations with security tasks (BOS).
When designing and installing a broadcasting system, it is particularly important to set up a self-sufficient energy management system and a reliable and needs-based air conditioning system to prevent components from overheating. For these reasons, broadcasting and its possible effects on the rest of the special vehicle construction for the military, police and other authorities are already included in the requirements analysis and the concept phase, in which we work out an individual solution with the customer. It must also be ensured that the broadcasting technology in the special vehicle is protected from internal and external factors at all times. This includes the electromagnetic compatibility of components as well as protection against electromagnetic pulses (EMP) and a nuclear EMP. This ensures optimum transmission and reception capability at all times. Any modifications to the bodywork and interior of a special vehicle are based on the requirements of the broadcasting system as well as other aspects of specific special vehicle construction.
Some of the special vehicles in which broadcasting aspects play a role are transmission vehicles, satellite and set-up vehicles and containers.
